Meet the instructor

Katy Swift

The Wildcraft Way grew out of my own practices with my family. I have found it to be the prefect antidote to managing the chaos of a young family in today's world that pulls us in so many directions.

I have also found that mothering this way has greatly enriched my life and my own spiritual practices and helped me to embrace this season of mothering as a way to keep learning and developing my craft. I am so happy to share this with you.
lived experience

What makes the Wildcraft Way different?

The Wildcraft Way grew out of my own experiences of learning, mothering and searching for a deeper connection with the natural world.
Through exploring the Wheel of the Year, Scottish Gaelic folklore, plants, stories and seasonal practices, I discovered a way of bringing more meaning, rhythm and connection into everyday family life.
What began as my own personal practice has grown into something I am now delighted to share with others.
The Wildcraft Way is an invitation to explore this approach for yourself, wherever you are and whatever your experience.

What people are saying about the Wildcraft Way

For a long time, I’ve been searching for a course that beautifully mixes Waldorf principles with the Wheel of the Year, foraging, and connecting deeply with nature.  The songs and beautiful stories are completely ready to listen to. Audio resources like this are a lifesaver, especially since music and storytelling can be one of the hardest areas of Waldorf for me to implement on my own. Having these ready to go makes our days so much easier and more joyful. Thank you.
